Purchased in 2006 by Taphouse, they instigated a multi-million dollar refurbishment, converting it from a corner pub to a contemporary hotel/bistro/entertainment lounge, offering all the modern amenities whilst retaining its historic personality.
History
First granted a license to sell liquor in 1911 this beautiful old pub has seen many a transition throughout the years and has been a landmark of Coolangatta with many patrons considering it to be their "watering hole", and, almost a second home.

Brilliantly located in the heart of Coolangatta with surfing beaches directly across the road, and a short drive of five minutes from the Gold Coast Airport, which caters for international as well as domestic travellers.
